Kit: Kit includes everything for installation into walls up to 380 mm. For thicker walls, additional wall liner extensions are required.

DWP | Stainless Steel Blast Relief Weather Panel
The DWP is a high-performance, multifunctional blast relief panel and weather cover. It is designed to fit directly onto the wall liner or installation frame of our SHX-UN range of inert gas suppression vents. It provides robust weather protection from external elements such as wind, rain, and airborne particles, making it ideal for installation in external walls. Without thermal insulation, it can also be used internally, configured like a smoke-seal door to prevent smoke ingress.
Made entirely from durable 316L stainless steel, the DWP features a flush-mounted design for simple installation and to maintain structural integrity. Is has a full-perimeter seal that ensures a 100% barrier against weather and smoke. The panel includes an adjustable opening pressure mechanism and a self-closing seal, offering reliable operation during gas discharge events.
The DWP has been rigorously tested using AFP’s live blast simulator to confirm its effectiveness in real-life discharge conditions. It conforms to NFPA 65 standards and carries an IP54 Cat II ingress protection certification, tested and verified by the CSA Group.

The DWP has been thoroughly tested in AFP’s blast simulator to ensure dependable performance under real-world conditions that go beyond normal operating conditions. During gas suppression discharge scenarios, it performed exceptionally well when used with SHX-UN vents, contributing only minimal back pressure. This confirms that the DWP maintains efficient airflow and remains structurally stable during high-pressure events, offering reliable protection in a range of industries.
