HBP OS | Offshore High Energy Blast Panel

The HBP OS is a multifunctional external blast panel engineered for offshore environments where fire-rated gas suppression and pressure relief are critical. Designed to work seamlessly with the SHX OS range of vents, it ensures full protection against blast overpressure, wind, rain, and smoke ingress. Even under the most severe offshore conditions.

Constructed from powder-coated 316L stainless steel, the HBP OS offers long-term corrosion resistance and a lifetime casing guarantee. Its flush-door design with a double-seal perimeter provides a watertight, weatherproof barrier while maintaining smooth vent operation.

Built with ISO-standard flange fixing points, the HBP OS is factory calibrated with adjustable opening pressures ranging from 100 Pa to 500 Pa+, allowing it to withstand extreme offshore wind loads without affecting blast-opening performance. Each unit includes a pull handle for on-site verification of opening force against factory settings.

Developed and live-tested at AFP’s in-house Blast Simulator, the HBP OS delivers proven reliability under real-world discharge conditions. When paired with SHX OS vents, it achieves up to a 4-hour fire rating, verified DNV-GL project certification, and future coverage under a generic product-range certification currently in progress.
